As of May 25, 2011 All of "our" dogs were seized by Green
County Sheriff's Department! They have now filed criminal
charges against us but we do not have a trial date set yet. They
did, however immediately file a civil suit against us so they could
keep our dogs and sell them. Being HOBBY breeders and not
breeding for money, we were unable to come up with the bond
money to save our dogs. This has caused us undue stress and
grief beyond words. Our lives have been destroyed because of
this; it could happen to anyone if it happened to us. Animal
rights activists and disgruntled "other" breeders have
"complained" and have stated that the "squeaky wheel" gets the
grease and even tho we were NEVER even ticketed, and there
was a "year and a half" investigation where not even an "order
of abatement" ticket or warning was issued, the Green County
Sheriff's Department felt it was legal to order a search warrant
and seize our dogs. Not one time in that year and a half was
anything other than rabies shots and Decatur township licenses
were EVER mentioned.
So all of OUR dogs on this website are GONE and will not be
returning. However, I have been kicked a lot while I have been
down in this lifetime, so this will not be the end. I will need time
to heal as I loved my dogs more than life itself but please know
that no matter what I STILL believe in my breeding program and
the quality of my dogs and ALSO KNOW THAT NO DOG HAS
EVER BEEN MISTREATED OR ABUSED IN MY HOME! We
socialize our puppies with children, other pets and many
different people. That is why when we can afford to show we
win. I'm not saying we win all the time, but for the amount of
time we can afford to show, our dogs win frequently. They come
out well socialized, in good condition and happy. My niece put
nine points on Showtime, BY HERSELF w/o a handler in stiff
competition. Now he will be neutered and placed in a pet home
because of the craziness of this situation.
